Exploring Pine Creek

With more flooding rains forecasted for NSW I thought I'd better get out for a bass session while I still could.

I decided to give Pine creek a go but not many tracks to get up into the fresh, so jumped on the mountain bike for the first time in about 8 years, can hardly walk this morning. Legs are soooooo sore and the small hard bike seat left me tender also. lol

 Beautiful sub-tropical rain forest in parts and bird life made for an enjoyable morning, but the 14 leeches in my boots didn't.

Managed to find a few fish, not much size in them but any day fishing's a good day.

I only threw surface lures around, I have become addicted with them and find it hard to fish for bass sub-surface now.

Great video and amazing spot - reminds me of the forests back in NZ. 

Also wondering how it is possible you have put on 10kg!  You must have been a stick beforehand

Not sure how to stretch the hurt area from the bike seat  lol, might start going for a ride each day for a bit of fitness............is what Im thinking,

but the reality is the bike will sit in the shed for another 8 years.

Maybe I haven't, and all my clothes are shrinking??? lol, yes, I like that reasoning better than I eat too many pies
