Went to maroon this morning. Left home 4 am didnt arrive till 6.

Not a breath of wind and just a bit of broken cloud. Beautiful scenery bus only around 6 fish biggest 33cm . not worth eating so all released.

Graham got one on bait and a couple on spinner baits and I got one on a sammy and 2 on lures.

Lost my favorite flick lure to a submerged fence.We were trolling in 25 ft of water and I got snagged and when we looked to the shoreline we could see the fence going into the water. Tried with a tackle back for around 15 minutes and ended up wrapping the tackleback around the fence wire.

Got all the fish except one casting lures/ spinners to the edge.

Knocked off at midday and just got the boat tied down and the rain bucketed dowm.

Spoke to another fisho at the ramp and they caught nothing. They were using plastics.

straight across from this pic ray is that where the fence was cause there use to be one out of the water there ages ago we used to cast near it

looks bloody good ray may be why u got nothing of size it was 2 good looking. u may have been better fishing in the rain :laugh:

Yes tied it to the stern and motored off and came off like a bullet.
