Lake Lenthalls Report

The dam has received a lot of water over the last week and the flood gates are open. There are bass around and obviously with the level there would be lots of new ground to fish. Lures of choice are the jackal type hard bodies and small rebel poppers worked and twitched along the shallow banks and weed beds or near the lily pads.

Lake Monduran Report

The dam has risen from 17% to 20% over the last couple of days. There were again big rains and storms in the area last night so the dam should rise some more. Good catches have been reported all around the dam. Many fish are being caught along the middle reaches trolling and casting. This week end should be a good one and an early start is recommended as the boat ramp could be busy.

Lake Awoonga Report

Spoke to Kiley this morning at the campsite and she reported that there were great storms and rains around yesterday and last night so there is possibly some water rise in the area. Whether this will effect the dam is not known. There are quite a few fish being caught up the SE arm and pig creek area. Trolling or casting hard body lures and soft plastics have all worked. Water temps are around 27/28†degrees.

Anyone interested in coming up to Lenthalls for a couple of days between 16th and 25th there are a couple of spare beds.
