queensland Quiet Day on the bay

Went out mainly to give the motor a run today and headed over towards the coffee pots and cruised around the bay looking for any bird action, Didnt see much at all so just cruised around for an hr.

On the way back we spot some birds hitting about 1km out for nudgee beach and we cast a Gold 30g Halco Slug in and hook up to 8 Slimies, All up we got 8slimies and 4 undersize tailor about 20cm, Pretty boring but we still gave the motor a run and got a bit of bait.

do u have any idea why it's so quiet? my mate hit bag limit of snapper within hrs this morning.

Really? Well ure mate must be doin alrite, We werent chasing snapper tho so dont really care.
