Iluka these school holidays

Well going to Iluka again these school holidays from the 28th to the 5th hopefully the weather will be better than last time:( . We will mainly fish for snapper, jewies, tailor, bream and flathead. Should be a good week hopefully there wont be many sharks around and we can get a whole fish in. Looking forward to it I may just have to take the last day off school to get all the fishing gear ready:P . So hope I have a good report when we come back:) .

I was down at Yamba once and have wanted to back down that way ever since. Awesome fishing.

Have a good one Dec. Last time I was at Yamba and tied to the family a nasty bloke walked past me on the groin with a 10 kilo jewie over his shoulder while I watched the kids chasing ghost crabs with torches on the beach:(

Thanks guys well I hope we get some good fish down there. This will be my 4th time down there it is a very nice place to fish. Wish me luck.

good luck dec.. from all reports the tailor are happening off the beaches at appropriate times and there are a few nice bream in the river around browns rocks area... and theres always the chance of jewie kicking around the walls... and the corners of the beaches and headlands etc..

Thanks for the info maxi well the weather is looking good so far 0-5 knots sunday and monday so hope it stays that way about 30 knots better than last time:cheer: . Im getting excited now watch out Iluka snapper here I come:woohoo: .

Well had a great week with lots of fish will post the report late tonight or tomorow. Caught many species with some unexpected fish.

You got that one whatnow but there is more unexpected fish well acctually just 1. Yer I got a 3.5kg salmon off the rocks was very unexpected when I got it in.
