sol 2000 and sol 3000

hey just need to know how much of a size differnce is there between the sol 2000 and the sol 3000, i know that its bigger i just wanna see how much bigger it is. If any one has both reels a pic would be awsome

ok mate heres a couple of pics to give you an idea, there is a 2000 Sol a 2500 advantage and a 3000 advantage, the advantages are exactly the same as the sols dimentions wise

I was planning on getting a new threadline thready outfit, 12-17lb* daiwa saltwater with either a 3000 sol or tierra. But i dont have that money atm so im planning on just buying the rod using the 2000 sol iv already got in the meantime lol. I would rather just use the smaller reel than spending $140-$250 on the same thing, just abit tougher... also just wanted to see if the 2000 would look to small on the rod. From the pics should be ok

MMM mate not sure if a 2000 will stop a threadie very well doesnt have a lot of drag, the 2000 has around 8lb of drag where as the 2500 and 3000 have almost 16lb of drag, not to mention you wont fit much say 20ln braid on the 2000 Sol, Id be looking at a 3000 size if i was you. you can get a 3000 Advantage delivered from the states for aroun $160 au absolute bargain oh and it may not really look like it but the 3000 is a LOT bigger than the 2000

the gear isnt that light tho lol 12-17lb rod with 20lb main and 60lb leader, even though its not as much as the 2500 or 3000 it still is a bitch to get line of it wen its almost locked imo.

and for little 55cm models it doesnt really matter, when it gets big you support its weight

good first post accusing someone, i know how to care for my fish so they release well. but when the fish is tiny and help up like that for about 5 seconds its not gonna do any harm.
