Brisbane River Encouragement

Haven’t made a report in ages, but I thought If anyone out there’s needing some encouragement to go hit the Brisbane River then this should get your casting arm twitching!:cheer:

My usual spots have shut down now from everyone else fishing them, so I went on a bit of a mission last night. Found a spot where there’s submerged rocks that lead out into a deep drop off. Casting a big Squidgy wriggler and working it over the rocks at dead low tide brought the hit. Went hard on my 3-6kg BC. Thanks Starlo and Bushy.

Have fun trying to find this spot super sleuths.:silly: [img size=500]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/jewiesmall.jpg

A little under 80cm Tim but it was the fattest healthiest Jew I've ever seen. Hit like a bream at first but when it hooked up it made some powerful runs towards rocks and the typical violent head shakes. Using a BC I was able to thumb up and turn its head ok.

Still swimming around in the River so next time I catch it should be over 1M lol:laugh:
