What rod for a Daiwa Saltist?

I've just bought a Daiwa Saltist (STT30TH) for off-shore fishing :cheer: . I'll probably put 40 or 50lb braid on it but its the rod I need help with.

I'd like to get a relatively light rod (the charter rods wear me down) that has enough grunt to lift a decent size snapper on board. The t-curve appeals to me for weight and the Wilson Live Fibre was recommended to me - I just don't know enough to make an informed decision.

So, what would you guys and gals recommend?

mate try and do some homework on daiwa interline rods 12/40lb would be a good match for that reel, and at $140 cheap too we use them off fraser for red emperor but tippy enough for snapper, seriously will hold up to anything on the market, i,ve got 4 of em, and will be getting more thats for sure.

have you looked at silstar power tips they are very very veruy strong fairly light and a reaonable price they are a bit old school now but very good for braid and off shore fishing:)

If lentgh is no problem definately go the live fibre M10 check them out by far one of the nicest offshore rods!

Thanks for all the input guys and gals. It was between the Daiwa Monster Mesh and the Shimano T-Curve - both felt great - but I decided on the T-Curve in the end.

Now all I have to do is add water and fish. :woohoo:

There's a nice Daiwa Saltish rod which is runnerless that suits the line class and the reel but do U think I can remember the exact type?? NO.
