Fixing the eyelet on my rod!

Hi all....Just need some tips on reattaching the top line eyelet on my rod, beleive that twine and resin is the best way to do this......What twine? what resin?...available at bait n tackle shops?...thanx

yeah kezza wander into any good tackle shop and tell them what you want to do,they'll have heatstik, binding thread and two-pack top coat

ok thanx mate.... Busted the top eyelet a few weeks ago on my favourite rod, have been using my other one since.

Depending on if you get a new guide or not it will probably cost you about $5-6. And it takes them a few minutes to do usually.

troys right there kezza its definately cheaper to have them do it in the shop then buy the stuff to do it yourself

would bcf do it?? if not what stores would do it?

I don't think BCF do that stuff - generally it's your little independent tackle store.

If it's the tip - I just use superglue.

Jones' Tackle does them good. I have got my Berkley Dropshot's tip guide replaced since then inner insert of the guide fell out. As with Ando and his GL2.
