queensland help me identify this fish

you got me stumped in 35 years of fishing i don'tthink i've ever seen one of them....but someone will know

I think its called a spotted or coral rabbit fish......

but thats just my 2cents worth.....

I think it's a Netted Sweetlips. Have never seen one here but have caught heaps off the boulder beach at Lennox Head (between Byron and Ballina). The locals there call them Spotted Hinde. The bloke at the Lennox tackle shop has a book showing them as part of the bream family. Grant's Guide says they're part of the Morwong family. Flesh tastes like sweetlip - very nice.
