queensland Quite Day At Borumba

Headed up to Borumba yesterday with mate Glen, he wanted to track down some saratoga and I had to give the petrol motor a run, its only the third time its seen water.Well we cast to the edges and had some success early on bass, but as the morning wore on they got scarce and the toga were hard to catch aithough we seen a few.It was a long way to go to fish for very few fish when we can get cricket scores in our local dam. Only ended up with a dozen bass and a yella between us for a thousand casts. Should of targeted the bass.Most little bass were not even worthy of a pic.

Only 3 boats on the water when we got there and we passed 2 of them on their way back from the yabba arm, I think they got the drop on us early.

The Toga fly comp a few weekends ago. 10 Toga  caught all up. don't feel too bad.

Nah mate. Just what I heard. Was up there a few weeks ago with a few gun fly fisho's and "they" all caught Toga.  I got owned  big time by a massive girl.
