queensland NPD report 15/11

Hey everyone! Well hit up NPD this moring for the first time in a long whle. Got to the wall at about 7am and threw a megabass anthrax but had no luck on the surface. Decided to switch to spinnerbait with immediate results.

After about 8 casts i felt a bump on the retrieve right in shallow at my feet. Next cast i got this yella. Which was a PB for me at 57cm [img size=499]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/tur1.jpg

Unhooked him, walkde back down to the bank then got this smaller model at 45cm

Both are good fish, but the first one was a cracker!

Thanks guys! I was so stoked when i saw the first one come up. Got so excited, that's what i love about fishing! Rocket the spinnerbait i got them 2 on was one of the TT vortex in 1/2 oz and purple and white in colour.

That first one is a good sized yella TUR82. I wonder how long they'll be hanging around the wall ?

Mate, your brave throwing an Anthrax in that part of the dam....I'd cry if I lost one of those beauties.

Sunday will be my time to hit the dam again. Looking forward to it. Heaps of overtime during the last few weeks....and a good chunk of that has been spent on lures. Oh yeah !

I only ever caught 2-3 pounders on handline.
