AFO Site Offline - New Server Move Issues

As you may be aware the Brisbane Fishing Online site has recently been offline whilst we were to move our site to a new server. The reason was because our site was producing database queries that were putting too much load on our shared webhosting server environment and so our webhosts temporarily turned our site offline. We quickly responded and got the site ready to upgrade our site to our own server to eliminate these problems, however knowing our luck, the hosts have had trouble moving our site to this new server and that is why our site has been offline this last while.

The issue is unfortunately still not resolved.

The hosts are contacting the server software company as there is an issue with the software (one of the largest server softwares used in the world as there seems to be a bug) that wont let them restore the site on the new server. The hosts (one of the best in Australia) are trying to figure out the problem and when they do will let us know to try once again to move our site to the new server. This new server will have dedicated ram, more diskspace and let us set the server up to how we want, however it is double the cost of our previous hosting.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused everyone, and for us it could not have happened at a worse time as we are trying to get our BRC registrations underway.

We have been up without much sleep the last few days to try and sort this but there is just not much we can do. Everyone is doing their best to resolve this issue and get our site to its new home :)
