Cheers for the replys guys:cheer:

We stoked with the quality of fish we can get out of there

Rocket: About half casting, half trolling. Good feeling either way. Get to feel the fish smash the lure when casting, or hear the rod bouncing in the holder (for baitcast), or the scream of a threadline drag:woohoo:

Malcolm: I know what you mean. A bream that size is so much easier to hold than one around 25cm

Again thanks guys:)

We've talked to a guy who had got a 54cm bass out of there;) and both on the troll and casting:)

Does anyone know if it is stocked?

Thanks to the hard work of the Australian Bass Association this area has been heavily stocked for the past 3-4 years...and the permit allows for another 2 years.

30,000 (roughly) fingerlings are ready to go in after Christmas, so with any luck, if the meat-fishos dont clean them out, this area will become an even better fishery then what it is now.

Take em a long time to "clean em out" two at a time!

Always great to see a stocking group in action. If it wasn't for them, we would be a lot worse off for somewhere to fish!

Just need to get some more salt water ones active!

(Yes I am a member of 3 groups, active in one!)
