Feral and his kids and myself are going to the lions comp at lake kurwongbah on australia day it will be shore based chasing tilapia. Should we make it an event or should we do something another day also. I think that Brian is keen to try out his newie. Maybe we can launch it in the beenie ponds.

I was going to make a post asking what everyone is doing for that long weekend.

Lions camp sounds good but would also like to do something more active as well. Maybe a day at Somerset? Apparantly the Yellowbelly are going off there. Or there are a few creeks off the passage id be keen to Yak. Open to suggestions however.

Somerset sound good to me, but I think I should take the cruise craft rather then the punt.

I could tow you yaks around at about 50kph Now that sound fun.

somerset will be very busy and lots of skiers and jetboats. maybe somewhere less busy. Baroon,hinze?any more suggestions?

Appears to be Lake Kurwongbah in the events calendar so ill meet you guys there, what park is it at the mick hanfling park or the north pine country park or should i update my refidex

Daumaresq river is the way to go guys , drove nearly 900 kms today but found at least four good bush camping spots so it was worth it
