Hi Simon, just read that article you posted and was wondering if it harmed the shark at all when it got rolled back to sea, I suppose like bending the fins or something, or does this not seem to bother them too much? Also, it mentions \"willing hands\" to help roll the shark back out ... how many people would you need to shift something that huge? I think I asked this some point before but don't know if I got a reply, so hope you can fill in the blanks here:) Cheers, Fisher_191

Hi Fisher_191,

Thanks for your questions. The shark suffers very little from being rolled back out to sea.

In fact, large tiger sharks often beach themselves at Fraser Island while chasing prey in the shallows. When this happens, the shark is forced to roll itself back out to sea with the help of wash from the surf.

It takes approx 3 men to successfully roll a Tiger of that size back into deep enough water for it to swim away.

Hope this helps fill in the blanks,

Simmo
