queensland North Pine Tomorrow - Yaks

Well,

Picked up my spare stickers from Barry this morning. Got them on the Yak in record time! I have lined up Clawhammer for a couple of hours paddle on North Pine Dam in the morning.

Probably be launching at the ramp around 7ish, depending on when the missus gets home from work (usually around 6:30ish).

I'm taking the camera for sure, its Clawhammer's maiden voyage in the AI without the outriggers! Wont be any standing up casting at 5 knots tomorrow !!!! Not for long anyway! :evil: :silly:

Probably heading up stream to see what we can find in the skinny water.

do i need a permit to fish NPD in a yak? is it possible to fish landbased?

yep

u need a impound permit and a water craft permit .they called something like that heaps of info on here about them.

i think all the water craft permits are full.

Downstream fishing tough for lures. Saw catch cards, only the odd vessel getting mroe than 5 without the use of bait.

Those using bait are killing it.
