hinze dam classic?

heyy,

just wondering if anyone knows about the hinze dam classic. I read a thing about it in the recent queensland fishing and boating magazine and sounds awsome. if you dont know its on the 24th and 25th of march and you camp overnight at the park that is located below the dam wall. You are allowed to camp over night on friday saturday and sunday nights but the competition is only held on the days of the 24th and 25th.

But seriously looks we lucked out with our choice of days for the AFO Hinze trip, would have been a bit of a let down to have had it a week after, the fish will probably shut down for weeks after getting flogged in a comp.

Too close to Tassie trip for me. To help overcome 3 fishingless weeks I am going to haunt the local tackle stores and try to pick up some tassie devils especially the saltwater ones that I havent seen locally.

I think that oztrav lernt his spellin from me. ( JOKE)
