Hi all,

Reading todays courier mail and found this mob;

Has anyone been before and if so how is it? I am heading up that way in a fortnight(Cordalba is about 15 minutes from Childers) and am keen to give it a try.They have a great deal at the moment where a family of four can stay for 105 per night(self contained cabin) and can feed the animals,walk in orchards or bring your own fishing gear to get the Barra.Don't know about purchase price for the Barra caught but still seems like a good place to take the family.Even if you catch the Barra,would be nice to release the catch for another family to have a crack at.

website says it is catch and release style, so looks like it is a fun thing only.

It also stocks plenty of other fish(quantiy wise)Mate if I had a Barra and was able to successfully release it,I would be stoked.It's good as it's not as far as Awoonga or Monduran and has great accomodation rates too.My kids are young so they will enjoy feeding the farm animals and I could drag me old man away from Bundy to join me in the search for Barra.

sounds like a great plan and you are right, just catching a barra is a top experience
