One rod One hook rule

Okay dumb question for you ...under the conservation green zones, yellow zones or whatever where the one rod one hook rule applies per person...would that mean that those bait rigs with multiple little hooks on them (the ones you see kids playing with from jettys)..are they illegal to use in these zones?

They are counted as one hook as long as there are no more than 6 hooks in the jig. There are a few brochures around describing what they consider to be one hook, from the Moreton Bay Marine park users guide - it includes lures, bait jigs, squid jigs, fly's Ganged hooks (up to 6 hooks in the gang). The conservation park zones (yellow) allow 2 lines, 2 hooks in total.
