Finesse?

Keep seeing the term "finesse" cropping up with styles and ways of fishing. What exactly does this imply, especially as regards luring.

Thats when bubba actually measures the length of the fuse, instead of guessing "she'll be long enough to hit bottom before she blows"

Basically its a term for fishing with very light gear, light line and little hope of actually landing anything before you have worn it out that much its going to snuff it regardless of how long you try to swim it for when attempting the release.

can have 2 meanings, first is very light tackle fishing and the other use is describing the action you give your lures, finesse luring = making small subtle movements of the lure instead of aggressively working it
