queensland I pulled in a rod and reel at bond uni???? Luck???

What kind of luck is it to not catch any fish after 4 hours, then pull in someone else's rod and reel from the muddy/stinky bottom?

My PB catch is a 7' Jarvis Walker combo pulled from the noosa river. Some poor kid probably lost his christmas presant over the side!

cool story haha.. i was fishing with friends down broadwater canals - some kayaker comes flying through out of nowhere and tangles my mates rod and pulls it off a bridge and into the water. Without saying anything he just turns around and paddles away..

Couple weeks later we went to the same spot and somehow fished it back up lol

It,s amazing how much stuff gets lost at Bond.

On sat morning watched an old local there diving for gear.

Pulled up 1 cast net,2 rods and reels and 6 lures in the 1/2 hour i was there.

best i've had was down south, jagged an ugly stick with a dodgy reel. rod was fine!

Some big momma's reside in those waters.. No doubt a bait rod sitting idle against the esky that encountered a GT I'd say.

Its down the gold coast I think, backs onto Lake Orr at Robina.
