what are the best hooks to use for what fish i really want to know it runs through my head when i fish.

There are many fish in the sea mate.

What sort do you target most often?

A short list though:

Suicide Hooks: Bream

Long Sharks: Whiting

Live Bait Hooks: Flatties, Salmon etc.

Im sure you could extract more info from the lads youll just have to be more specific

i like o'shannessy (spelling:P ) style hooks for bream and squire if using prawns,crabs or yabbies and bait holder paterns with flesh baits.

hey jimmybob,

basically just bread and butter fish like whiting beam flatys and cod around sandbanks

hey angus thanks for the info,

though i usaully catch flathead whiting bream cod in all the sandbanks at my house. i know that u use longshanks for flattys though.

Flathead are probably less hook dependant than other fish.

Remember the case is not always \"what hook for what fish\".

It is more often than not \"what hook for what bait\".

Match your bait to the fish and the correct hook choice should present itself
