Croc attack - warning graphic image

Anyone see the article in this mornings paper, A vet in Singapore had his bitten off by a Croc he was treating.

Yeah i also saw the footage last night of them executing the croc.

I wonder what the vet didnt take into consideration?

I imagine he was a croc vet. Oh well there is always room or human error.

I'm no vet, but have worked with crocs plenty before, and just cannot fathom how the hell the lizard was not safely restrained??????????:ohmy:

There is no way to even describe the absolute power them animals have and it must have been freestyle in the jaws to get his arm and then had to be able to roll to take it!!

that arm looks a wee bit clean to me to have been taken off by a croc, I would think that there would be more blood and lacerations and a bit of bone crunching going on.:evil:

But, stranger things have happened, the vet may have been part crab and just threw his arm:dry:

Poor lizard, it was the vet's fault.

apparantly they shot it with a tranquiliser dart before going near it but it woke up when the vet had his hand in its mouth checking its teeth:pinch:

i seen footage of a croc farm in thailand and the way they handled those animals it doesnt surprise me although it wasnt the case that they arent restrained

I still vote bugger that,

the only tranquiliser dart that would make me put my hand in one that big's mouth would be a 30 30 to the brain:dry:
