Moving to Oz

Hi all, Me the wife & 2x kids have given up with England & emigrating to OZ:)

Were initaly going to be staying in Bribie Island for 3 months whilst we look for a house/ jobs etc. hopefully around the July- aug time.

any guidance on ALL aspects of things would be well recieved.

looking forward to catching ya fish & perhaps meeting some of you.

Me wife is actually Australian anyhow, so I take its ok for her &the kids can come over then.

Hi Mate, i'm into sea fish at the mo, mainly Bass / light gear set up etc.

I'm an elect by trade, but I am a Contracts manager at present, running a division in a M&E company.

Good to hear about the plans! I don't think I'd be able to stand the cold drizzling weather that is England!

Plus I think you will find the fishing in warmer temperatures much more comfortable

Word of warning, Bribie Island = lots of roundabouts + lots of old people = scary driving experiences!

Might be a good idea to stay on the water and off the roads:P

Just kidding (sort of)

Nice place to live, plenty of good spots to have a fish and not far away from many more (fresh and salt).
