i finally bought my shark rod

After much antisipating i bought my shark rod. Its a 24kg game set up. It holds about 500m of 50lb mono. which should do the trick, Sure it wont be as good as terrys okuma, but for what i payed for it i did allright. I cant wait till shark season. If anyone is interested in the info on these rods, let me know. i got mine off ebay and it cost me just under $100, that includes the psotage.

Hahaha if u recall correctly i said, 24kg is over kill for river sharks. The sharks im chasing are going to be caught land based off moreton and sand gate peir. There not nessesarily going to be bullies - im chasing bronzies, dusky whalers, hammers, small tigers and other whaler species.

Im in! id rather fish wth someone from brc rather then my mates, cause none of my mats got as keen as i did in the last one and didnt really get too involved. Plus i know some good boat based locations for sharks. Thats if ur keen.

yeah, it should do me right but time will tell and if it doesnt work out, i think an 80wide reel may be required.
