Went for a fish at the seaway this morning still not using bait or livies only plastics and hard bodies.

started a nice drift along the noth wall and started to hook a few small flatties. I was using a 5/8 jig head and a 7 inch jerk shad bouncing on the bottom just nice.

Did the same drift a second time but a little further away from the wall.

Just installed a new to me sounder so with the 2x zoom really understanding the bottom more and came across a 2 mtr drop off and went over it a got snagged straight away, but then the head shakes came and the dead weight, finally in to the net which i changed for the bigger one this morning a fat looking flattie at 83cm, just fit the net nicely.A few photo,s and off she went, had another 2 at 45cm and 68 cm and then came home still smiling.
