Can anyone help me with one question.

I'm using a Garmin 400c and understand how to use the gain feature but am not sure of the best way to use the whiteline/colourline with it.

The 400cs' whiteline/colourline only has settings for low/medium/high.

So the question is, with the gain set correctly for the conditions how should the whiteline/colourline strength be set?

I have Rick Hucksteps book but it's not all that clear on this point I find.

Any help would be great.
