queensland cameron rocks

just moved to a lovely unit across the road from cameron rocks reserve. has anyone had any luck flicking lures (soft and hard) along that stretch? i've been out three or four times, not really for any length of time, but i haven't had a hit on anything. i'm thinking that there are far too many variables to really figure out what i'm doing wrong, but if anyone could tell me if they'd had any luck there it might either motivate me to try harder or give up entirely...
