mangorve jack in the pine river

hi all, i spent last summer chasing jack's in the pine with no success (really starting to doubt they are there) plan on doing it again this summer. any info would be helpful. best bait/lures, tides, weather... i have read that hot humid afternoons are best is this true. thanks

Yep, they are there. I've caught my 3 there all on live bait. The hotter and more humid the better. Look for snaggy areas, cast right into them, do up your drag and hang on. Try both the north and south pine .... they are around.

They are definetly there, last time i launched the boat had a few people packing up and as you do ask how they went and they had 2 whopper jacks easily 50+
