queensland breaking in the tourny shirt! coomera 17.03.11

so yesterday afternoon my mate rang me and asked if i wanted to go coomera with him on his boat. 30mins later we were on our way. got to the boat ramp and tried cast netting for some livies with no luck so headed out. got to our spot at around 5 30. was pretty quiet with alot of small peckers. high tide was at 7 and about 30mins after the tide turn BOOM! i was smashed. with a little fight i got her up. a solid 54cm jack! my mate hooked onto the next fish which turned out to be a small cod. then about 15mins from that my rod went off again! a little while after we had landed another jackkk! this one abit smaller going 41cm. we left at 9 30. all damage was done on fresh prawns. awsome way to break in the tourny shirts! good mojo :woohoo:
