resolved Latest forum posts ?

Just something I noticed

Alot of posts go by the way side

sight unseen due to the resent post section being replied to at a great rate re: funny pics it is good to see the forum so active :woohoo:

Maybe the resent post section could be changed to recent repy to that post

ie: last post on topic

funny pic

my new project

rod storage

etc etc rather than 8 out of ten being say funny pic

not a critisism just a thought

I have only found out that by going under the latest posts and under where it says show new posts that I can look at all posts from the past nearly 5 days

I was thinking the same thing Gazza, i actually came to this area with the intention at mentioning something along those lines.

Just enquiring, is it possible as stated above to only mention the most recent update of that one thread, rather than X amount of posts actually made on that thread.

It might just be me but i will usually look at the threads in the last forum posts. Once i have viewed all of these i will shut the site down until the next hour when i have nothing to do at work. Sometimes there will only be 3-4 threads with lots of posts.

ok we have changed it now so that the latest posts only show the last post made in each thread. we will trial this for a while and see how it works.
