Soft Plastics Or Bait

Hello everyone i am only new to fishing and i am just wondering if i should begin to try some soft plastics instead of bait. by the way i am a land baced fishermen and i aim to catch FLathead, Whiting and bream. If i should try softies then and body got suggestions.

For me personally, it depends on what kind of mood you are in. If you are patient and prefer to soak a bait and relax, go with bait. If you prefer to have a bit more action, go with soft plastics!

I've got flathead on both, but it seems that I have more luck on the plastics and a bit more activity. Again though, it just depends on how lazy I feel that day

Personal choice really. Mix it up a bit. Try both and see what you like

I still do both depending on mood.

As for what soft plastics to use..... Alot of people have their favorites. Me personally, I like the squidgee wriggler 100mm in bloodworm colour. I also like nuclear chicken shads in various sizes.

But just have a look in the tackle shop and pick what you think might work.

One tip for plastics is to fish light. So light main line, light fluro carbon leader and light jig heads
