hey guys...

i was seriously considering getting into mechanical jigging at the start of the year...

then i saw this combo on Shimano's jap catalogue and i knew that i just had to get it... :woohoo:

so after alot of thinking... i guess i decided to throw self control out the window

and after 10 months of organising funds... viola...

Rod : Shimano Ocea Jigger B565 PE3-5

Reel: Shimano Ocea Jigger 2000NR-PG

the level of detail on the rod is exquisite... comes with the new Fuji K guides which are supposedly tangle free... :cheer:

and it is so UBER light that i nearly cried when i first held it...

needless to say the reel is phenomenal... UBER smooth and solid... 2000 size but putting out a max drag of 10kg... its a beast... :evil:

cant wait to go hunt some kingies... or some Samsons down in perth now that summer is coming...
