Trip to Cairns

Dec

Recommended Posts

Decided I would dive to Cairns for a few weeks in January and it turned out pretty good with sessions of 40 or so Jungle perch and sootys in a day or days on the reef when your 2-3kg trout get eaten by other trout and other crazy stuff like that oh and catching milkies in the arvos.

I could be mistaken but it looks more like a type of frogfish? Get heaps of frogfish offshore over sand. Have caught stargazers and they were ugly, but not THAT UGLY  , that's why I'm thinking frogfish although the ones I've caught were lighter colour.
