Couple mates and i decided to go for a quick trip in the river yesturday arvo/ night. we gathered up some live herring and fished a totalled of three hrs. ended up with my mate landing a threaddy going 70cm and i landed one around 65. we got in before the rain so all up was a good quick session.

Great catches.

alot of threadies seem to be caught at night and I was wondering are they all such a deep gold? or does flash photography affect the accuracy of the colours? These have awesome gold on them.

nope pretty much as yellow outside the picture. they were really nice colours

have caught threadfin both golden and steel grey/silver colour day and night. i've never heard a reason for the diffrent colours

that is an accurate representation of the colour cboy, some of the gold ones really glow
