Redfin perch in qld??

Hi all

Are there any Redfin perch in Queensland and if not why? Obviously it's illegal to relocate them but seeing as how prolific they are in southern states and they spread like tillies, I was wondering why they are not up here yet?

They found some up the back of the Clarence region in some farm dams several years ago and the fisheries nuked them.

That's the furthest north I have heard of them.

They would have to be inland though in the upper reaches of the Darling or Macintyre catchment due to them being throughout the Murray River system.

as far as I know water too warm stops them breeding and over 30 kills them

I heard they were in Pindari dam, not sure if thats qld or nsw its near the border.I am down in the gc hinterland and cant look it up.

pindari in nsw on the severn(the nsw severn that is), some are in qld streams and rivers in that area and further west
