fishing at coomera

Hi sorry I haven't talked ,but could someone please tell me at good place at coomera you can get to by car for fishing I'm taking my wife and dad

Mate, I have never fished there so can't help at all.

However I wanted to say not to be sorry for not talking/posting. If you're not a natural extrovert the first few posts can feel a bit uncomfortable

I'm sure someone who does fish down that way will post if they can help, but most of the fellas I know that do fish there use a boat.

The coomera is too dirty (chocolate) at the moment after the rain last week. I hit quite a few spots in the boat on tuesday for not a touch. The Nerang is much cleaner though, hit that in the boat thursday and it fished well.

Thank you both for your help and thoughts I might take them to Nerang instead that sounds like the better place to go do you know any good land based spots I haven't fished there for a long time

You could try Budds Beach, late afternoon with worms/yabbies (you might even get some yabbies there). There is a coffee shop over the road which might be handy for the missus). It is very close to the heart of Surfers but there is fish there.

Also anywhere along the Broadwater (for example near the Southport Yacht Club) might be okay.

It is hard to find landbased spots that produce regularly.
