Went out for a bit of a fish this morning using live Beach worms. Once the sun got up a bit I managed to get past all the bream into some really solid whiting. Got a 37cm and a 41cm and then lost what seemed to be an even bigger one! Not a bad way to start the day and some nice fresh whiting for lunch!

Nice mate, what's with the big whiting getting around? Thought it would be a bit cool for them.

Yeah I thought they were more of a summer fish too! We should hit that spot with the yaks sometime..

Nice one mate! i caught a big summer whiting the other day too at colmslie beach on the brisie river. was quite surprised given the time of year?
