Shimano River Raider Baitcaster

hey guys,

just a quick question:

i've recently bought a shimano cruxis baitcaster reel and I am looking to buy either a shimano river raider or the tcurve version of the same line weight (3kg-5kg). as i work at bcf i can get 25% off these rods which but stil means i have to make a choice whether to pay an extra 90-100ish to upgrade to a tcurve or just buy the river raider...

so my question, has anyone got either rods? any info on the rods would be appreciated. im just using it for flathead/bass/small estuary species.

mate i have both the raiders are great and i will always use them but the tcurve is awesome the best bream rod that i have used i payed 240 for mine well worth it

yeah the tcurve is a nice rod...decisions decisions haha...i dunno i think il go with the tcurve, i've got a raider in the threadline style rod so itd b nice to have a bit of variety :laugh:

25% percent is not a bad staff discount. Almost make signing an AWA acceptable (almost, still wouldn't do it!)

When I worked for Hardy Brothers many years ago we got the princely sum of 5% staff discount, and there was nothing marked up less than 100%!

I`m not allowed to reveal staff purchase discounts at my work, but alot of wholesalers offer pro deals as staff incentive.

Many of them are too good to be true. On top of that they usually give you free `Product Knowledge` gear to use.

Can`t sell it if you haven`t used it!!!
