colours of your lures

if your purchasing lures,how do go about choosing colours,or does it not matter much.i was looking at the damiki vaults and was wondering how do you choose.john

Colour doesn't tend to make a great deal of difference, but I do like to go for more natural colours.

Same here ant, not a huge fan of fluros or bright ones I tend to use the more natural looking colours ( havnt even used the nuclear chicken gulps )

Same as above, I don't really like like bright colours much, naturals all the way.

More often then not I'll match the colour of the plastic to the water clarity.

If the water's dirty I'll use browns and black etc.

look at the surroundings as well i usually get colours of what i know has worked for me .....but some bright colours in dirty water work well too....

Just when I think I have it sorted the old reliables get ignored and something that has never worked before will get hit over and over for that session then next time they will fire on the old reliables again.

I usually try to stay with naturals but if that doesn't work I have a few bright alternatives to turn to. I have been buying a few different styles and colours to try out at my local bass spots once the season opens again . Will be interesting to see what sort of results they get.

Definetely natural colours, the only time i would use a bright lure is at night time or really dirty water.
