wat happnen pete and i went in the boat 2 day and catching lotz of squir and lil bream i caught a good 40cm one but pete and i kept on catching around 25cm ones and didnt know wat size they hade 2 b so we just wanted 2 know wat size limit they r?

if uz culd tell us that would b great...

Dunno for sure, I think it is 35cm. Best to look it up on the DPI website.

Yep Feral, 35cm for Snapper/Squire

and 23cm for Bream, but I add 2cm to it just to make sure.

whats the size limit for tailor? grunter bream? mangrove jack, luderick and eastury cod? and do pike, trevally, flounder, and garfish have size limits? Soz for all the questions but i dont wana break the law.

You should buy one of those orange tide books only cheap and has fish legal sizes and pictures plus knots and other tips very handy

I think it is 25cm for Moses perch

yep 25 but again they can shrink a bit after death and icing so add on a cm or 2

Estuary cod are 35cm (38cm for all other cod species, except Mauri Cod 45cm i think). Moses Perch are 25cm.

The others Pike, Flouder, Garfish and Trevally don't have a legal length. But don't take home midget fish. Don't take home Pike for eating either. Urgh!

haha yeah ill only ever take the flounder garfish trev ect if there a nice size with abit of meat (30cm+) and im trying out the pike right now ( some bloke told me they taste real nice like whiting he was taking quite a few for a feed.

Ive got a new fav fish!.. jokes.. it didnt taste bad.. a few bones, wouldnt say it tastes like whiting but i woulnt say it tastes like crap hehe
