Bass season opening Saturday 1st September

Only a couple of weeks to go where are you fishing on opening day ?

Tweed River, try and get some big flattys then move up stream for some bassin.

However going to launch at the Harpeng Rd. road reserve myself which is currently under threat of being closed due to the the neighbouring farmers application to close the road reserve. Good spot for an opening day fish as well

Will miss out this time as I'll be in Yeppoon.

Maybe I'll just have to console myself with a barra or jack!!

I'm the best man at a wedding that weekend so can't really chase anything on open day but given the first opportunity I'll be heading up the Mary somewhere.
