Moreton Bay 29.08.12

Well the weather looked way too good to stay home so boat loaded up and myself and Chafule are off at 4.45am. Get to the ramp just after 5.30 and we're motoring off to find some fish. On the way out saw a bunch of boats close together and decided to give it a miss and went off in search of our own luck. Oh how wrong I was lol!

First time fishing the bay by myself as I almost always went with Keen_as_fisho so without his guidance was a pretty ordinary day. I wasn't expecting much as I don't have a lot of spots. Plus the weather being basically glassy all day i knew it would be a fun day on the water but generally a tough bite.

Anyhoo - fished a few new places as well as some old but didn't do as well as the others. (read Nabs and Pete). Final tally for the day was low and so here are a few pics. Intentions were to throw the new Damiki Cranks (DTSC-40) but all hardbodies were overlooked and plastics outfished the hardz all day long - i think neither of us got anything on hardbodies. Got to say I can't wait to get out there again and put the hours in so i can learn more about the bay and how it fishes. Also, not having any fish arrows really hindered out chances with the water being so clear. If only demand wasn't so high that they're almost all sold out!

Thanks fellas - yeah awsome day on the water, couldn't have asked for more weather wise but the fish were keen to stay away from my boat
