queensland Fraser Island close in gps spots east side

Hi all,

New here and also have a newly purchased boat.

I would like to know if anyone out there has some gps spots for the reefs close in on the East side of Fraser Island from the Southern tip near Inskip up to 20 klms to the North.

Any help appreciated!

What boat did u get? Got no marks for ya sorry mate, haven't done any work up there. Have u tried fishnet for some generic marks to start u off?

Just a 4.5 Meter Skimmer with a 60hp Mariner.

I live in Rainbow Beach so when the weather is really good am looking to go from Inskip and up to 15-20 km north of that. Have been to the two close in reefs used by the local charter guys but trying to get some gps spots for same.

I want to get out again this Tuesday, and the guy I know has the spots on his gps is currently on holidays

Thanks, I have all the spots around the Sandy Strait and the west side of Fraser, what I am after are the couple of spots in particular on the east side of Fraser close in, within 15-20km of Inskip moving north.

The charter guys go there every now and then and there are two spots in particular I am looking for.

I am looking at going out early Tuesday morning and the guys who I can get the positions off are on holiday without their boat(!).
