hey guys new to the site and im wondering if any one has any tips an hot spots at somerset dam heading there tommorrow moring thanks nathan

Definatelly take redclaw pots. Now the weather is warming up again they are on the move and feeding activelly.

Was at sommerset today, absolutely no red claw being caught up the northern end (Kirkleigh) even all the old blokes that live on the waters edge with there tinnys and 20 pots weren't catching anything at all. With the bass there were a heap of comp looking boats flicking spinner baits right out in the middle of the dam and letting them sink abit, must be some weed a couple metre down, may as well give it a try out in the middle?
