just been offered for sale an 11ft seajay,seems a good price.does anyoneknow how many people safely these carry,thinking of myself and three sons,it can support a 10hp motor.we only go estuary around goldy/tweed whatever thoughts id appreciate.john

Even if its legal (which i doubt) it will be mighty uncomfortable to fish 4 out of an 11ft boat.

ok,thanks i just dont know.so what size should i be looking for,im talking minimum as that would suit budget and transporting it on my ute.cheers john

Mate, I have a 4m (approx 13 feet)wide body tinny with a 25hp donk, and even with front and rear casting decks, it is superb with two pers, but three would be uncomfortable. Sounds like it would be a good run-about, but for four blokes? Might be a bit small.
