Inskip point sinkhole

Hey guys I'm heading to inskip for all this week and plan to do a heap of fishing.

I've been there before an I want to just clarify the sinkhole. Is it on the Fraser side of inskip right at the end of road just before the beach tracks start up to the barge? Or is the hole up near the barge at the barge?

A few reports of some trevs and queenies are being caught!

Also anyone know how deep the sink hole is?

Cheers

Nick

Nick, follow the road down towards the barge. Keep an eye on your right as you head towards the barge, looking for the water through the bushes. First you will have all the parking and campsites that you know about, then suddenly about 20 metres through the bushes is water. That'll be your sinkhole. Then shortly after that you get to the roundabout near your track to the barge.

I do remember seeing a report about the depth. Can't remember how deep it was though. Visually looking at it, it is quite deep, similar to the main channel depth.

There were news articles about it last year - they were all suggesting 30-50 metres deep.
