queensland Tough day at the office

Had the opportunity to join Ted and Dom out off Point Lookout today, see if we could hook into some more marlin and hopefully get my first. Conditions where stunning up until midday. Our first troll past the wave breaker we managed a few rat dollies. I couldn't careless about the size as I'd never caught and was pretty stoked regardless :woohoo:

Many hours trolling and a quick stop to try and get a bait down for a pearlie but the current was racing, anyhow we got stuck back into the trolling, followed by more trolling then whack the shotgun went off and I jumped into action thinking it might be a small marlin but I was pleasantly surprised by a nice Wahoo :woohoo: went 1.1m and was also a first, still can't wipe the smile off my face

Anyway we did some more trolling until the wind set in and blew up the place. Thanks for the great day out guys thoroughly enjoyed myself
