Sharking at coolum

Hey guys im heading up to coolum for the aussie day weekened, i wanted to go for a decent size shark from the surf! Just wondering if anyone knows any good spots to go around there and any tips for paddling the baits out into the surf! Any help would be appreciated guys!

Try the bays. It used to be a good spot for grey nurse so, as they are a protected species, make sure you know what they look like

Use the same tech ad you would in any other surf spot. Paddle bait out, use a sand bag

Don't fish near the coffee rock reef up their, if you get a big shark and it goes around a bommy or over a drop off, it will bust you off.
